Skincare market in Southeast Asia is large and growing rapidly. According to Statista, the sales revenue of the beauty and personal care market in Southeast Asia is expected to exceed 34.56 billion USD by 2027, with an annual growth rate of 3.57%.

In March 2024, the number of skincare products sold on the Shopee and Lazada platforms reached approximately 730,000, with a total sales of around 220 million USD.

In general, on the Shopee platform, the skincare market was led by the facial serums & essence category, accounting for about 23% of the market share. Followed by face moisturizers and sunscreens in second and third place. On the Lazada platform, facial serums and face moisturizers gained significant popularity. Body care products also performed well and ranked third in the sales list.
