Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Data Scientist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing complex datasets, developing predictive models, and scraping data from various sources to drive business insights and decisions. As a Data Scientist, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business problems, design and implement data-driven solutions, and communicate findings to key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights
• Develop predictive models using statistical and machine learning techniques
  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business problems and design data-driven solutions
• Scrape data from Southeast Asia markets using web scraping tools and techniques
• Clean and preprocess scraped data to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Store data and build different industry data databases
• Implement client projects and deliver results within deadlines
• Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
• Continuously monitor and evaluate model performance and refine as necessary
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in data science and machine learning

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
• 2+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role
• Proficiency in Python and SQL
• Strong knowledge of statistical and machine learning techniques
• Experience with web scraping tools such as BeautifulSoup or Scrapy
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or AWS is a plus
• Fluent oral English ability
