Business Development Manager

TMO Group is recruiting a Business Development Manager. You will develop new channels and explore new opportunities with the main goal to sell services of TMO Group. Either Custom developed solutions or Cloud Solutions - ShopNow Cloud.

Business Development

  • You will present the company’s services and Cloud eCommerce Product to clients, channel partners & agencies.
  • You will be able to consult clients and ask the right questions to come to the right service offering.
  • You will be able the key person to answer questions about client inquiries and guide technical questions through the technical team.
  • You will write Project briefs and transform qualified clients into prospects.
  • You will independently write Service Proposals.
  • In charge recruiting new & managing current channel partners & agencies.
  • You will the architect of the Channel Vision and Strategy and inspire the sales team.
  • You will be the key person in answering Partners & Agencies inquiries and feedback.
  • You will be the key person in answering Partners & Agencies inquiries and feedback
    You will closely work with the digital marketing team to align on overall company marketing strategy.

Channel Development

  • You will be the lead in planning on offline (conference, exhibitions, forums & work shops) and online interactive marketing activities (webinar, white papers).
  • You will be with (regional) digital marketing team on promotion of offline & online initiatives.
  • You will company & product evangelist in public appearance during offline & online activities.

Event Marketing

  • You will be the architect of our retention & up-sales strategies.
  • You will communicate with partners & agencies on industry needs & challenges.
  • You will organize marketing initiatives and come up with new forms of knowledge transfer to stimulate sales.
  • You will be the first to communicate & present our quarterly new product updates and features.
  • You will closely collaborate with our digital marketing team on latest product & channel announcements.
  • You will drive innovation and provide suggestions for solution and product improvements from our channels.
  • Co-creation Sales Team.
  • You will be the door opener introducing & participating in first contact business opportunities.
  • You will collaborate during offline marketing initiatives with sales.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years working experience in e-commerce, digital marketing or IT industry.
  • Working experience on Lazada and Shopee e-commerce platforms is preferred.
  • More than two years of work experience in institutional processes.
  • Possess knowledge of China's digital ecosystem.
  • Alliance, relationship or channel management background.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills.
  • Comply with personal and corporate integrity, strong teamwork ability.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Mandarin and English language skills (oral and written).
  • Can use MS Word/Pages-Excel-PowerPoint/Keynote.
  • Master the operating knowledge of MacOS.

How to stand out

  • Any additional language is a plus.
  • Knowledge of (China) eCommerce.
  • Knowledge in Event Management.
  • Experience working at an Advertisement & Media Agency.
